- Fundraised and organized the local branch of a national competition hosted by the U.S. Department of Energy, where middle-school teams built and raced solar cars

- Represented Earth Club in Earth Team, a San Francisco Bay Area grassroots leadership movement for youths
- Coordinated with janitors to installed hawk silhouettes on the library windows to avert birds from crashing into them

- Wrote and awarded external funding from the Contra Costa Solid Waste Authority’s mini-grant program to start the plastic and aluminum recycling program at the school. One of 11 grants funded
- Convinced administrators to create a bulletin board to communicate environmental news and issues on campus
